How Dufaa's two engines identify candidates and price loans — explained for the CEO
Engine 1 — Candidate Identification Algorithm
Engine 1 scans every active personal loan customer in Bank Al Bilad's portfolio and computes a Qualification Score from 0 to 100. This score is built from six weighted factors that together predict whether a customer is a good candidate for a Dufaa Loan Top-Up. The algorithm mirrors the credit risk criteria used by SAMA-regulated lenders, adapted specifically for the top-up use case.
Score = Credit Score (max 30 pts)
+ Debt Burden Ratio (max 25 pts)
+ Employment Type (max 20 pts)
+ Salary Transfer (max 10 pts)
+ Payment History (max 10 pts)
